BJ's Bouncy Castles
Terms & Conditions of Hire

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken To avoid injury or damage to the inflatable.

Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed: -

1. Each unit has an age limit. Please ensure no one over this age uses the equipment or damage to the seams is likely to occur.

2. A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.

3. No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or ‘silly string’ must be used near or on the inflatable as they can make a terrible mess and permanently stain the unit.

4. Children using our castles should be no taller than the sidewalls of the castle.

5. Please make sure the inflatable is fully secured to the ground at all times during use.

6. All shoes, badges, jewellery (e.g. large earrings, necklaces etc.) and belts must be removed. It is recommended that spectacles/contact lens be also removed.

7. No smoking near the inflatable.

8. No Water on the inflatables as they are then covered with dirty footmarks and also have to be dried off before the next hire (unfortunately the rain doesn’t always make this possible).

9. Climbing, hanging or sitting on the wall is dangerous and must not be allowed.

10. No food or drinks to be consumed on the inflatable.

11. Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded & limit numbers depending on age and size of children using it. If the children are colliding into each other then it is too crowded.

12. Try to avoid large children and small children from using the inflatable at the same time.

13. Do not play around the entrance/exit.

14. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step.

15. Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation.

16. In the event of heavy rain it is recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness or bubbling can be dried with a towel. A small picnic table placed over the blower will help prevent rainwater being sucked into the blower and then into the inflatable. Please cover ext lead with plastic bag if stating to rain.

17. The adult supervisor must watch for careless or reckless behaviour.

18. Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.

19. Do not use the inflatable in high winds – switch blower off immediately.

20. Please have the inflatable ready for collection in the same state as it was delivered to you – nice and clean - not dirty and most importantly dry (the weather may of course intervene)
